Clearview Media Terms of Service
Welcome to Clearview Media! By accessing or using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions.
1. Services
Clearview Media provides photography and videography services, including but not limited to event coverage, portrait sessions, commercial shoots, and video production.
2. Bookings and Payments
Booking Confirmation: A booking is confirmed upon receipt of a signed contract and a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total cost of the shoot. From there we will devise a payment plan (if need be) in writing.
Payment Terms: Full payment is due before the final delivery of photos/videos unless otherwise specified in the contract.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made 2 days (48 hours) before the scheduled service will forfeit the deposit. Cancellations made within 1 day (24 hours) of the service date may incur additional charges.
3. Client Responsibilities
Timely Cooperation: Clients must provide all necessary information and cooperation to ensure the smooth execution of services.
Permissions and Releases: Clients are responsible for obtaining all necessary permissions and releases for locations, subjects, and other aspects of the shoot.
4. Clearview Media Responsibilities
Service Quality: We are committed to delivering high-quality photos and videos as per the agreed specifications.
Timely Delivery: We aim to deliver the final products within 4-6 weeks of the shoot, subject to the scope of the project. Note that the delivery is dependent on the type of content and the amount of content taken. This entire process may take up to 8 weeks.
5. Usage Rights
Client Usage: Clients receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the delivered photos/videos for personal or commercial purposes as agreed.
Clearview Media Usage: We reserve the right to use photos/videos for promotional purposes, including our portfolio, website, and social media, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
6. Liability
Service Performance: While we strive to meet client expectations, Clearview Media is not liable for any failure to deliver services due to circumstances beyond our control, such as weather, equipment failure, or other unforeseen events.
Image/Video Storage: We are not responsible for the long-term storage of delivered photos/videos. Clients are advised to make backup copies.
7. Confidentiality
Client Information: We respect client confidentiality and will not disclose any personal or sensitive information without written consent.
Project Confidentiality: If the project requires confidentiality, both parties must agree to specific terms in the contract.
